Changes to my study program

Image
Hi, today I'm going to talk about changes to my study program. I'm in my second semester of architecture, so I don't have much experience at university, but there are a few things I would make. First, I think that the program is fine as it is. I wouldn't change any subject, but I would add a subject or workshop where we can learn about architecture programs, like AutoCAD, Rendeer. I think that is important because we don't have the time to learn how to use it. If we talk about the facilities on campus, I think that they're not enough for the students, and I would change others. For example, we have to pay to make a photocopy, and we should have it for free, or not everyone has a locker to save their things, and they have to go with a lot of things every day. The places on campus are good, like the study rooms, but the cafeteria doesn't have tables for all the students that sit there, so I would add more. Another thing I would change is the schedule of the

Time travelling

Hi, today I'm going to talk about time travelling. Honestly, I haven't think too much about it but I would like to travel to the past, especifically to the 60s because I really like The Beatles. Maybe I could enjoy their music in a concert, but I would have to live in Liverpool, where they started like a band.  Besides, I wouldn't stay in another time for so long because there's a theory that you can change your present if you stay for a long time in the past.  Also, I would like to travel to the 80s because I like the music and style of that decade. I think that a good place to go in those years would be the USA, because they have a masive culture and you can see this particular style in everywhere.  I wouldn't travel to the future because I don't want to know what's going to happen so I can keep my anxiety levels low and enjoy the present moments that I'm living. I think that the worse time you can go is any time in the future, because you are going to

My dream job

Today I'm going to talk about my dream job. I've always dreamed about having a job with a flexible schedule, starting the day at 9 a.m. and finishing at 5 p.m. But if I'm honest, I haven't thought a lot about it because I'm in my second semester of Architecture and I don't know in which area I'm going to specialize. Besides, I would like to work in the program "Servicio País", because I want to visit small towns in Chile and help people, and I would like to work in another country too. I think that this kind of job requires creativity, teamwork, and responsibility. The salary is a theme that I definitely haven't thought about, so when it gets my turn to work, I'm going to do it, but in the beginning, probably it won't be much because we don't have any experience at all. I haven't worked in my life, so it will be a completely new experience. I can't wait to work and be more independent.

The best holidays ever

Almost every summer, my family and I go to different cities for vacation. One of those times, we went to Punta Arenas. It was the summer of 2022. We were eleven relatives, my parents, sister, cousins, uncle and aunt. We went on a plane and stayed there for almost a week. Even though it was summer, the weather there was like we were on autumn. The days were windy, and rainy some times. We tried  some typical food such as "choripan" and "leche con plátano". It was delicious!. Also, we visited the president's tree and there was a lot of people trying to climb it. It's like an attraction of the city. The last day we spent there, we crossed the "Estrecho de Magallanes" to go to Tierra del Fuego. There we went to a penguin reserve, but on the road, we saw some guanacos. It was so beautiful. Before we went to the airport, we stopped in a historic place called "Fuerte Bulnes". It was a place where people defended the city from the sea attacks.

A country I'd like to visit

Hi! Today I’m going to talk about the country that I would like to visit: One of my dreams have always been travelling and getting to know different culture. If you ask me what country I would like to visit first, I would definitely say Norway. The landscape is so beautiful. Beside of that, I’m a winter person so I think that Norway is the perfect place to stay for at least one year. I imagine myself living in a small town in the mountain, waking up one day and seeing snowing outside, drinking coffee and reading books. In my entire life I had seen snowing once and I loved it. Also, the summer is great there because it’s not too hot and the day never ends. Maybe that is my favorite thing about this country. I hope that a few years after I finish my career I’ll make my dream come true and spend a time living there. Bye!
